Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

The following information is collected when you visit our website:

  • Information about the browser type and version used;
  • The operating system of your end device;
  • The IP address of your terminal;
  • The internet service provider you use;
  • The websites from which you reached our website.

Your browser automatically communicates this data to our provider's web server unless you have configured it otherwise, over which we have no control. This data is also stored in the log files of our provider's web server. However, we do not have access to any data that would allow the data to be assigned to you. Thus, the log files accessible to us do not contain any personal data. This data is not stored together with other personal data concerning you.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data is Art. 6 para. 1(f) of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

The temporary storage of the IP address by our provider's web server is necessary to enable the delivery of the data for the presentation of our website to your end device. For this purpose, the IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session. This is also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 para. 1(f) of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. The remaining data in the log files of our provider's web server are kept for 10 days for the purposes of error detection, search and elimination. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object.

Web analytics, Google Analytics

This website uses several functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). This includes cookies (text files), which Google Analytics uses and which enable an analysis of the use of the website. This information, which is generated by the use of the website, is usually transferred to a server provided by Google and stored. This data storage of the above-mentioned cookies takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 (a) (consent to cookies) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in analysing or recording user behaviour, especially in order to improve the website and advertising.

The website has activated IP anonymisation. Through this function, all IP addresses are shortened by Google within the EU or in other contracting states before the data is transferred to the USA and only in certain exceptional cases is the entire IP address transferred to Google and shortened on site. On our behalf, Google will use this information for the purpose of analysing website traffic and compiling reports. The above-mentioned IP address transmitted by your browser will not be merged with any other data.

If your browser does not save the cookies, not all functions of the website can be used.

Marketing, Google Ads

Google Ads (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) is used by this website for marketing measures and conversion tracking. Cookies are active on the website for this purpose; if the website visitor accepts them, they will be activated when clicking on an advertisement via Google Ads. In this way, the website owner can track when an ad has been clicked on and a certain action has been triggered afterwards, such as a purchase. Via Google Ads and Google Analytics, anonymised statistics can be created about certain actions (conversions) on the website.

To object to conversion tracking and not be listed in anonymised statistics, do not agree to cookies on the website, set your browser to allow cookies only in exceptional cases or to exclude them altogether.

Remarketing, Google Ads

The technical tools of Google Ads (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) are used in conjunction with Google Analytics (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) for remarketing. This is used to create target groups in order to use them with Google Ads. This means that interest-based advertising, specifically tailored to the usage behaviour on the website, is displayed on the end device used (mobile, tablet, desktop).

If you have given your consent, Google will link your web history and the browsing history of your end devices for this type of advertising. In this way, interest-based advertising (remarketing) is served on every (end) device where you are logged in with your Google account. All data collected from you is based on your consent, which can be agreed to or revoked at Google. If you do not have a Google account, the data collection is based on a legitimate interest of the website owner, as the website owner relies on an anonymous analysis of the visitors to the website for advertising purposes.
